Can't believe there hasn't been any talk about this game, either today or all week.
UT offense struggled, but stepped up when it had to. Ainge has really matured. He throws 3 interceptions in the first half and then comes back with a solid second half. Best performance by the UT defense all season.
A W over Bummer is good no matter how it comes.

Just surprised that none of the Bummer fans were talking [censored] this week.
Other thoughts about the game...
Two bad calls almost did UT in. The non-pass interference in the second or third was horrible. The defender ran through Swain, made contact almost a full second before the ball got there, a flag was thrown. Then they picked the flag up. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wall.gif[/img]
The bad spot in the third was pretty bad as well. Meachem catches the ball at the 29, advances it to the 30, then is pushed back and out of bounds at the 29.5. Foward progress would have given them the first down. Instead they're a yard short, fail to convert on 4th, then Bummer drives down for their only TD.
UT special teams was better today than I've seen it in a long time. Heffney was fabulous on punts. KO and punt coverage was pretty good as well.

we know, we know, it had to be something other than the fact than Bama giving them all they want and more. Refs, lines wern`t straight, grass was too high. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]
I also seen somecallson Tennesee sideline that wasn`t called, exactly because that, it was on Tenn sideline. But that`s football ya win some ya lose some. Pretty good for a young Tide team that was supposed to lose by 2 TD`s

good game.. haha it got a lil wild for a while.. The UT student section started chanting "F you Bama" but it wasn't said as nicely.. best game i have seen at Neyland in a while..
They started that chant in responce to the bama fans cheering went Coker went down injured.
